Happy 5th birthday Chokolait!

A very big happy birthday to Chokolait, chocolate covered centre to our city. Located at shop 8, the Hub arcade at 318 little Collins street, they can be easy to miss but I was lucky enough to stumble into their birthday celebrations over the weekend. This included live violin music by Gypsy Sukaro and free saplings of their sweet treats.
I was tempted to swipe the whole tray but the way the rest of the guests were eying me while waiting their time made me think twice. Instead I drank my hot chocolate while mumbling that I would have been able to take the first two people.
If you are in the mood for something sweet after a hard days shopping in Burke street mall, I do recommend popping in and trying them out. Five years in the business shows that they are doing something right. I would ask that they put more spacious seating at the front of the shop, please?

HI, Ross here, owner of Chokolait, thanks for your post and glad you enjoyed the party, as for extra space, we would love to get some but unfortunately our neighbours aren’t very co-operative and I can’t move the concrete walls any more, I realize it’s bit tight but it is the best we can do under the circumstances, Take care, Ross
