Alliance Francaise French Film Festival

One of my favourite non-MIFF film festivals, it opens tonight at Cinema Como. If you’ve got a touch of francophile in you this festivla will not disapoint. Program is here.

Burlesque life drawing

Each Thursday from 8 the Burlesque Bar in Fitzroy holds life drawings with their performerms. From their Facebook page for this week:

There is a big sketch on this Thursday evening at the Burlesque Bar starting at 8pm. Drawing Straws is putting the burlesque back into Burlesque life drawing tonight. Not only is our performer & model a favourite muse of Drawing Straws but she is bringing out the feathers for this one! Oh yes its Magenta Rose, this is going to put your pencils on the paper! Grab a drink from the bar & get your draw on…………….its a drawing thing.xxx
